Spicy Garlic Edamame
Spicy garlic edamame make for a great snack or appetizer! Grab a handful and pack your diet with fiber and protein. As an alternative to the sauce called for in this recipe, try sautéing the edamame in my firecracker dipping sauce!

Ingredients
- 1 pound edamame in pods (cooked)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp arrowroot powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix together coconut aminos, honey, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, arrowroot powder and salt in a small bowl.
- Sauté garlic in olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the edamame to the skillet and pour sauce over the edamame.
- Stir for 3-4 minutes until sauce has thickened over the edamame.

Dynamite Turkey Meatballs with Firecracker Dipping Sauce

Jam packed turkey meatballs with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce.

For the firecracker dipping sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- ¾ tsp hot pepper flakes
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp arrowroot powder
- 1 tsp minced garlic
For the dynamite turkey meatballs
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ red bell pepper, chopped
- ½ small onion, minced
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- ½ jalapeño, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
- sesame seeds to garnish
To make the firecracker dipping sauce
- Combine honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, hot pepper flakes, salt, arrowroot powder and minced garlic in a small saucepan and stir.
- Bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat and add the tomato paste.
- Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring constantly then cool.
To make the dynamite turkey meatballs
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix together ground turkey, red bell pepper, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, garlic, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Form into small round balls and place each meatball side by side in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with firecracker dipping sauce, garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
